BRYNN MACEK
Brynn brings a unique milieu of experience to the Design Shop team. Loving the energy from working collaboratively, Brynn has embraced the wisdom received from teammates and mentors, including award-winning designers in Winnipeg and England. Brynn’s strong intuition and meticulous nature ensure her designs are meaningful and precise, from the smallest hand-crafted detail to overall spatial composition.
Brynn’s design career began with a degree in Architectural Studies at Carleton University - an artistic and process-driven design program. She has since spent sixteen years exploring creative ventures from as many angles as possible, including commercial and residential architecture, woodworking, millwork fabrication, boutique interiors, hands-on construction, and product design.
Having worn many “design hats,” Brynn brings awareness and attention to a streamlined and holistic process. She spent nearly a decade living in England - the favourite of all her design chapters - honing her interior design sensibilities. Above all, she focuses on getting to know her clients and offers a process that is empathetic, mindful, and reflective of clients’ dreams!
Outside work, Brynn prioritizes connecting with family and friends, crafting her heart out, and snuggling with her two dogs. Brynn and her husband like to keep active, travel, and dream big! Brynn is a lifelong learner, a curious mind, and has a warm, welcoming vibe.
