Working with the Design Shop has been amazing. Ubisoft is a very creative company, and we wanted to make sure our new studio conveyed that as well as stood out from the rest. Takes a very special group to understand us, (and me being an artist as well) they definitely "got us".
We could not be happier with the results. It was such a collaborative process, we where always in sync with our ideas, and they did an awesome job executing them. I would work with them again in a heart beat, and hope we can. Or even just have beer and nachos with them, they are great to just be around which makes the work even better!

I had the pleasure of working with Design Shop to build my dream dental office. Truly it was the best experience and I enjoyed collaborating with such skilled, energetic, kind and genuine people. From the start of the project, they unrolled the red carpet. They went above and beyond to make sure that not a single detail was missed. They are the best at what they do and their passion for their work shows!
Our vision came together so nicely. What should have been an extremely stressful process was a true breeze because the Design Shop team made it this way. We often collaborate with the exceptional Design Shop team on our bespoke high-end residential projects - especially when working with our most discerning clients. Debbie Golub and team are experienced, well organized, and very detail conscious. My husband and I selected Design Shop after vetting a few interior designers in Winnipeg. We were fortunate to be assigned to co-owner, Deb, and Mel, a senior interior designer. Both have been diligent, patient, and gracious during the entire process. This was our first experience using a designer and they made the process interesting and fun while understanding the complexities of structure and mechanics to ensure the design's feasibility. Our goal was to maintain and honour the original early 1900s character which Mel and Deb thoughtfully considered each step of the way. I leaned on them often to discuss my thoughts even after the design process and during construction when something didn't feel right, and they were with me to pivot the design when needed, or just to calm my nerves. Our home is now beautifully updated and I can't thank Mel, Deb, and Design Shop for their work and commitment to excellence. We highly recommend Design Shop to anyone considering a refresh, remodel, or renovation.

When my husband and I decided to renovate our 1500 square foot bungalow to the studs, we knew we needed professional design assistance.
After a lengthy search online of various local designers, we found ourselves continually drawn to the Design Shop. We liked their online presence and admired their overall style. Amanda and Natasha were thoughtful, thorough, and innovative.
They were true consultants allowing for our ideas to be represented but complementing our basic framework with their exceptionally talented vision! We didn't want to follow trends and do what everyone else was doing...we wanted to truly find *our unique style.
The Design Shop allowed for that but significantly built on it for us resulting in the home of our dreams! All of their suggestions, recommendations, and guidance came with ease and we have received countless compliments!
When you walk into our home, it's ours and it's custom thanks to them...we simply couldn't have done it without their expertise, creativity, and insight.
On another note, Amanda and Natasha are friendly, diplomatic, professional, and fun. We recommend them without hesitation for anyone truly wanting to transform their space.

My husband and I used Design Shop for a major renovation on our new home. The house is older, a perfect shell in an ideal neighbourhood but in desperate need of a renovation. We had an idea of what we wanted but definitely not equipped to make it a reality without some much needed help. On the recommendation of our best friend, we contacted Debbie at Design Shop and set up our first meeting with her and Natasha. We were immediately impressed with their enthusiasm, energy and support in our vision. During that meeting they explained the process and why they work in pairs which proved to be a godsend many times over during our six month project as one of them was always available if we had any questions or concerns, and believe us, we did. Working with these girls was pure joy. There were soooo many positives such as their quick responses to calls/texts, listening to any of our questions/concerns; honesty on why certain things we’d want to change or add wouldn’t work, keeping us on track to our ultimate goal and finally unexpected small touches that totally surprised us. We especially appreciated their attention to detail in the concept plans and construction drawings which helped us to minimize costs during the actual renovation and ultimately reduced my husband’s stress level. Debbie always joked that part of her job was also being a marriage counselor.
In the end, we were beyond happy working with them. Not only is being around them easy and fun they also make you feel like your project is their top priority. We’ve told everyone about them and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. We may have started out as their clients but ended up as friends. My husband and I walk into our home every day and can’t believe it’s ours, a place we look forward to coming back to and enjoying with our family and friends. So if you are looking for a design company look no further cause this is the one for you. We promise you will not be disappointed. Debbie and Natasha, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us to make our dream home a reality!
